We are sensitive to that challenge. <a href=\"https:\/\/traumanb.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/NBTP-Guidance-During-C-19-version-1.1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The guidance document<\/a> was created to provide recommendations on matters specific to the care of trauma patients with serious and critical injuries in the setting of COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>It is not our role or intention to duplicate or contradict existing guidance that applies to EMS and acute care, surgical care, critical care or other components of the healthcare system that include trauma. Instead, it is our intention to offer tangible, relevant and trauma-specific guidance that helps ensure continued strength in the delivery of care to those with serious and critical
